How soon after conception are you able to take a pregnancy test?

I forgot to take my bc pill 3 days in a row and then had sex. How soon should I take a pregancy test?

I believe it is recommended seven - ten days after ovulation. But unless you don't know when you ovulate I would wait until the first day of your missed period. If that shows up negative and you still feel that you might be wait a few more days and try testing again.
There are pregnancy tests now that will tell you as soon as 5 days BEFORE you miss your period. I dont think that there is anything out there that will tell you any sooner, except maybe a blood test from your doctor.
Oh, be careful, I forgot 2 days in a row, 9 months later i gave birth to healthy baby boy. See you doctor for a test.
I KNOW THESE TESTS SAY 5 DAYS SOONER, BUT THATS BULL. TAKE THE TEST 5-10 DAYS AFTER YOUR MISSED PERIOD.
