What kind of medicine is safe to take for nausea during pregnancy? |
What kind of medicine is safe to take for nausea during pregnancy? I don't know about medicine... you'd have to check with your doc about that... But for non-medicine methods, what worked for me was anything sour/sweet: lemonade, Nerds Candy, etc. Or Ginger Tea or Ginger Snap cookies. Ooh, and I almost forgot - ask your pharmacist if they can order you a bottle of cola syrup. It's very thick, and you pour a small bit over crushed ice and sip it slowly. That was completely awesome - I was a pharmacy technician during one pregnancy, and the pharmacist I worked with suggested it. Vitamin B - ask your pharmacist. ginger A S K Y O U R D O C T O R none....consult your doctor you have to be really careful! Please check with your doctor. If it is morning sickness, sometimes crackers help. So does flat gingerale! These both helped me when I was pregnant! I would stay away from meds for this. I would go with some ginger candy, or a peppermint candy or cup of tea, and lately I have heard of a woman using lemonhead candies for her nausea. Good luck, hon |
