Ladies, is it possible for a woman to show positive on pregnancy test even if she isnt, like if she is sick?

no. the pregnancy test works by detecting hormones in the body that are only there when a woman is pregnant. a false positive is won't happen, a false negative can happen, though.
i dnt think so
You can have a false negative but never a false positive.
False negatives and false positives are very rare but possible on a pregnancy test. False negatives are more common. Being sick would not affect the test as it is testing for a particular hormone your body produced when pregnant. If you are still unsure, retest after you are well or get a blood test from your doc.
I was a pregancy counselor
yes in some RARE forms of cancer or some tumors its possible to show positive for the hcg hormone even when not truly pregnant or having been pregnant.
it is possible in some diseases ex:h mole/choriocarcinoma or simply by lab error.
