If you have been taking birth control for a month, are pregnancy test results still as accurate?

If it came out postive while on birthcontrol, is there a posibilty that its not right?

Yes. The way birth control works, is it tricks your brain into thinking it's pregnant through the use of estrogen and progesteren. They are synthetic forms that are releaxed into your body which basically shuts down your own natural horomones, preventing an egg from ripening and ovulation to occur. These are not what a pregnancy test looks for. When you are pregnant, there is an added chemical which can be found in your blood and urine. Birth control pills do not mimic this chemical. If you are experiencing positive pregnancy results using at-home tests, stop taking your pills immediately. You need to see a physician for a blood test to confirm or deny your at-home results before beginning your pills again. Better to be safe about it.
