Give several reasons and explanations for the reduction in risks of pregnancy and childbirth.?


actually i don't want an answer (but it'd be great if u'd answer it), i just don't get this question, so if someone could help me explain wat exactly is my teacher looking for, it'd be great.

advances in science
ability to see the child and monitor its growth with the ultrasound
knowledge to take prenatal vitamins and eat healthy
knowledge to avoid drugs and alcahol to preserve childs health
medical tests and screenings to see if diabetic, down syndrome, etc...

the list could go on forever!

Better and more prevalent pre-natal care and advances in medical science. Sorry I'm not much more help....hope this gives you a starting point.
