How do i comfort sister-in-law that baby died during pregnancy?

My sister-in-law is blaming herself for her baby being dead inutero. she almost miscarried last week, but, didn't, then went to hte dr. yesterday and they did a sono and the baby is dead. she will have to have surgery tomorrow

yeh not much u can really say to her loosing a baby is really hard, just be there for her and comfort her pretty much. maybe after the surgery when she's better take her out to a day spa or something to relax and have fun.
I think the only thing you can do is be there for her. Avoid telling her that it was meant to be or there must be a reason. Nothing you say can make it right but listening to her will help.
just keep telling her its not her fault sometimes when things happen as humans we need a reason why things happen and when there is no reason we blame ourselves and just help her to take it one day at a time good luck and so sorry
