What medication to take for increasing baby weight in 34th week of pregnancy? |
i am in34th week of my pregnancy and my baby's weight is 2 lb and 11 oz. The weight of a fetus as determined by ultrasound is not terribly accurate, they can be out by 10% or more.As well the dates may be out...you could be a week less pregnant than you thought. Assuming the weight and dating is accurate, your baby is on the small size, but nothing to worry about yet.Another factor to remember is that in the last month of pregnancy your baby will gain a lot of weight, almost a pound a week. The only thing you can do to optimize your babies weight is ensure you are healthy, and eating good healthy foods...there is no medication for it. I would not worry, eat well and enjoy the last weeks of your pregnancy :) I've added a link which has average fetal weights for you to look at. Source(s): http://www.babycenter.com/general/pregna... I would definantly cosult your doctor on this as you would not want to take any medication while you are pregnant dueto the risk to the fetus No, you don't want to take any medication. Talk to your Dr. or a dietician. sometimes those weights are incorrect, they told me my baby was only going to be 5lbs at birth, he was almost 7lbs!! my suggestion is to ask your doctor, otherwise, just eat healthy. DO NOT TAKE ANY MEDICATION |
