In case of emergency we can take medicine after intercourse to avoid pregnancy.wht is tht medicine? |
yesterday me and my hubby did that.but suddenly condom damaged. so pls tell me that medicine name to avoid pregnancy. You can take a "morning-after pill" (the name depends on which country you're in), for up to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. Or you can have a coil fitted for up to 5 days after the incident. IN the UK, the drug usually used is levonorgestrol 1.5mg as a single dose, preferably within 12 hours, but up to 72 hours after intercourse (its brand name is levonelle). In the UK it is available from family planning clinics, GUM clinics, GP surgeries and some A&E depts, and is free of charge. there's a medicine called Pill-72! it can be taken 72 hrs after intercourse. its called plan b or the mornig after pill any planned parenthood agency will give it to you within 48 hrs of intercourse so contact them now well in the AM good luck It's too late now.... I don't know of anything you can take after the sperm is allowed to take off..You may be ok anyway because you may not be ovulating.... If you are then go to Toys or Us and consider buying a playpen just call your doctor or local Planned Parenthood and tell them you need the morning after pill. I heard that it was available over the counter now but I don't know if it is in your area. morning after pill. must be taken within 72 hours of intercourse. can be bought at any pharmacy try strawberry jello -- its even better if you put pieces of strawberries in it. |
