Is there any proof that marijuana is actually bad for you during pregnancy? NO WORSE THAN TABACCO I guess you dont need a proof for that? It is harmful even if you are not pregnant. i am uncertain about the proof part however i heard that europeans do engage a bit in that condition to help alleviate morning sickness. however, as a devoted po-thead, i would still reccommend against it. why take a chance ? In England, they are actually testing right now if marijuana is a good way to help morning sickness. Studies have shown that it is less harmful than extreme morning sickness, as you can lose your baby that way. There is no proof that it is harmful, but also no proof that it isn't. My friend smoked a little during her pregnancy cause she couldn't stop throwing up. She delivered a healthy baby girl. If you are doing it to get high, i wouldn't. Smoking a little to stop morning sickness, probabyl alright, just dont overdo it. Even if the drug itself wasn't harmful, one problem I can see right off the bat is that smoking ANYTHING decreases the amount of oxygen available to the baby. That alone should give you pause. As for morning sickness, there are other (legal) ways to handle that. my brother and his wife did marajuana while she was pregnant and both of their children have severe mental problems Uhhhhhh,yeah,even if you are not pregnant,it is harmful and illegal. |
