What could cause low abdominial cramping and lack of periods other than pregnancy? |
I had to take the 72 hour pill after a memory lapse with my boyfriend. My doctor also prescribed the contraceptive pill to take on the first morning of my period. I have sore breasts and am cramping which I normally get and do about a week before my period is due. These symptoms have been there since before I took the contraceptive pill so when I started bleeding slightly I thought the bleed was just my normal period starting and I took the pill but a couple of hours later the bleeding stopped. I continued to take the pill and next Wednesday will be my first 7 day break. I am still getting the cramps which are very strong and are in my lower abdomen and usually right across though occasionally they favour the right side. I have taken a pregnancy test which was negative and I have a doctors appointment next week. There is signs of watery blood but so slight it doesn't show up on a pad. There is no sickness. I did have an ectopic preganncy last year but don't have the same symptoms. i have that pain myself and am doing a hysterectomy test at the min. the test consists of me getting an injection every month for 6 months and i have to take 1 hrt tablet per day for 6 months this stops my period for 6 months to see if I'm still getting the pain. i am 3 months into the test and still getting the pains which mean the pains are not gynay problems it is something else. i am only 26 and wish i was a man cause they don't have to go through what us women have to. it could be something to do with your appendix could have an infection. Are you constipated? stress urectum problems could be you need a DnC ,ovary-cyst, infection or just wind you need to see a Doctor now not next week. vitamin deficiency could cause that as well. im a young man without any medical background, why dont you do yourself a favour and see a doctor. |
