Is it really bad to drink just one cup of coffee during pregnancy? |
and by small, I mean something like 13 ounces or under I've heard generally that for a person drinking less coffee is worse, the more you drink the more your body gets used to it and the healthier you are. I say if you do it try an espresso, all the coffee flavour, but appearantly less caffeine than a regular cup of Joe. Though ask your doctor, he/she should know best. Errr and ask about Europeans, because coffee is big in Europe, so if it was a problem for babies the studies would come from there most likely. I'm not sure about that but if you do drink coffee try decaf it is better for you and the child. No. Just be wise and do not go for expresso with a high caffeine content. If you are worried about coffee and the caffeine, you also better look at black tea, hot chocolate, coco, chocolate bars, pop, sports drinks. You can be sure your mother didn't worry about such things and look how you turned out. Use that as a measuring stick. |
