I am 10 days late for my period, got a negative result on a pregnancy test today, could I still be pregnant? YES! Those self test are not reliable. You need a blood test from your doctor or a clinic. Check the phone book for free clinic in your area. Yes, or you just going though a new cycle. Check with a doc in a month. Don't drink. If you have not had intercourse your fine. Just in case you are that young. Its possible, but there are also many reasons why your period may be late, stress can cause your periods to become irregular. Take another Home Pregnancy Test using first morning urine if you think you might be. I was 13 days late for mine this month.. It happens Are you under a lot of stress? That can also cause a missed period. Actually there are several things that can cause a missed period and it is probably nothing to worry about. Those pregnancy tests are more accurate than your body regulation. More than likely you are not pregnant. But call your doctor and see what he thinks. My GF went through the same thing, took the test, negative, she ended up just having her period 2 weeks late. it is possible that the test was a false negative, but do remember that stress can cause your period to be late or early. so wait a day or two, relax and if it hasn't come do another. if you continue to have problems with negatives call your doctor. and if it is positve, take a deep breath and call your doctor. Yes, you still could be!! You can have a 'false' reading on a preg. test but you can't have a 'false' positive. Might also be hormonal imbalance problems is why you might be late. I'd see a doctor to make sure....... Good luck!! |
