only 2% transmission
Take the medication you have been given.
-Caesarean section
-anti-retroviral drugs to the neonate starting from the first day of life.
Before these measures the chances were 25-30%,now are 8%.After the age of one week (better at age of one month) polymerase chain reaction should be performed to the baby.
