Is it true that their are pills to take after sex to prevent a pregnancy?

Yes, but htey are not 100% effective. It is called Plan B. You can get it over the counter at any pharmacy if you are over 18yrs old. Plan B should never be used on a regular basis though. You should be taking birth control pills everyday (like Mircette or Ortho Tricyclin Lo) in addition to a condom, and then use Plan B only in case of emergencies (you missed a pill, your condom broke, etc). I believe it is called Plan B. You can take it up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.
Not so much as to prevent it, but to abort if there is any chance of pregnancy.

Morning after pills. Its a quicker way to abort unwanted children when two people are not thinking anything but having sex with no responsibilities.
