Is it normal to bleed for more then 3 weeks after a termination of pregnancy?

It is normal to bleed for over 3 weeks sometimes, although it is usually supposed to be pretty light bleeding. If it is heavy, I would recommend having a check-up, as it might be something serious. (But don't worry too much; chances are you're fine if the bleeding isn't very heavy.)

You can also ask on the forum at this website if you like: www.choicetolivewith.com. It is a nonpartisan site, so you don't have to deal with either pro-life or pro-choice propaganda or comments.
Yes. You just put your body through shock and it now has to heal. Just like a woman bleeds for 4-6 weeks after giving birth to heal, your body now has to heal. I'll say a prayer for you.
go see your doctor
It is very normal. However, if the bleeding is heavy you need to see your dr. It should be getting lighter by the day. Be sure and abstain from sexual activity for at least 6 weeks. It is the healthiest thing to do for your body. If you are really concerned please see your doctor.
Go see your doctor. After a D&C for a miscarriage one should only bleed for about a week.
Had D&C surgery in 2001.
