Does it matter if your urine sample don't get tested straight away for pregnancy results.? |
Can anyone tell me if it matters how long your urine sample can stay in the bottle to confirm your pregnant.I took a urine sample on tuesday morning,then took it straight to the doctors that morning.The lady on reception said to come back in a week for the results,i was just a little worried if they take ages to test it will come back negative,although i have already had 3 positive pregnancy tests that i took at home. Most doctors offices use the same type of test that you can buy in the store so you are most likely pregnant is you have had 3 positive home tests. Doctors generally will send specimens right to the lab and they are usually kept refrigerated so they do not go bad. The reason it takes so long to get results is they have to wait to receive the results from the lab, file them in your chart, then have the doctor review them and then someone will call you or however they choose to get them to you. So the sample is not really sitting around for a week you are just waiting for them to go through their procedures. No it dont matter if you already took 3 positve tests than your pregnant boo get ready to plan for a lil one best of luck been preganant before |
