While using the Mirena IUD can you get pregnant and can you have a normal pregnancy?

On MIrena you have a 0.1% chance of pregnancy and with sterilization you have a 0.5% chance of pregnancy. Back before the IUD's were recalled 10% of women used to get pregnant with them and have very successful full term pregnancies. Source(s): RN
