For 1-2 mos. I have experienced severe nausea,diZziness, severe fatigue but a negative pregnancy test-what give |
I could sleep all day, get hot flashes but am only 34. Did have to abruptly come off zoloft 100mg 1 1/2 mos ago-does the side effects last this long? Please give any ideas. two things - 1. though you are only 34, you could be going through menopause. many women (especially those who get their period early in life) go through menopause even younger than that. 2. coming off of zoloft really toys with the chemicals and hormones in your body. i was on 60 mgs of cymbalta and it took over 4 months for my dizziness to go away. i had CAT scans and MRIs that cost thousands of dollars to see if i had a brain tumor because no one knew what was wrong with me. after taking any medications that alter the chemicals in your brain, your body can take even up to a year to regulate itself. personally, i think that you're having side effects from the zoloft. i'm a certified EMT, but no doctor so i cannot tell for sure. get a physical. talk to your gynocologist. rule out things before you worry about it being something serious. but, speaking from experience, i went through all of that myself after coming off my anti-depressant. |
