Are there ANY safe diet pills or herbal substitutes that are safe to use in pregnancy?

I was previously taking slim fx diet pills, then Adios, until I found out I was pregnant. Now my weight is ballooning as it has with my previous two pregnancies. Although this pregnancy was totally unintentional, i am not prepared to put the unborn child at risk hence stopping the other diet pills. Does anyone know of any which are safe to use in pregnancy? If so, do you know why?

No unfortunately! You could try 'slimming world'..It's safe to do while your pregnant, you can eat loads(non stop all day if you want) and it's really easy 2 follow.

Can pregnant members still attend Slimming World?

A: Yes, with the support of their midwife. Slimming World's Food Optimising system provides a healthy, well-balanced diet and an ideal way to prevent excess weight gain when pregnant. We have developed a policy with the support of the Royal College of Midwives in which we ask pregnant members to get their midwife's consent to continue attending their group. A pregnancy form is available from Consultants and must be signed by the midwife at each check-up throughout the pregnancy.

Slimming World Consultants do not advise on weight change during a members' pregnancy. However, a member may be given specific advice regarding her weight from her midwife depending on individual circumstances. The pregnancy form enables the Consultant to help and support the member in managing her weight solely in the way suggested by her midwife. This ensures the Consultant can support the member in managing their weight in the way that is totally safe for her and her baby. Source(s): http://www.slimming-world.co.uk/...
Congrats on the baby...and good luck x
you cant diet and be pregnant thats unhealthy for the baby regardless if you use pills or not
i doubt any of them are and you shouldnt try to lose weight while pregnant. just cut back a little on eatting if your overweight, the baby will eat up the stored calories. DO NOT DIET! its going to be bad for the baby. wait until after you give birth then start on a diet and exercise regime. it'll be healthy for both of you.
I don't think there are any that are totally safe, I wouldnt chance it because some swelling in pregnancy can be water retention and not fat.
You need all the vitamins and also extra calories to sustain the baby so just try and eat healthy and diet after the baby is born.
two pregnancys
Instead of popping pills swap foods. At times when you would reach for a chocolate bar or crisps have a piece of fruit or something healthier insted. You will lose weight, stay healthy AND save money. Also make sure you drink plenty of water.
