I know blood in urine can cause a positive but can it cause a negative in a pregnancy test?


I have all the symptoms of being pregnant but aint sure if i am or not.

No urine test is 100% positive for pregnancy. GO see a doctor or go to planned parenthood and have them do a blood test. Its the only way to be absolutely sure.
Better get yourself checked out by a doc. Blood in urine could be the cause of something else other than just pregnancy.
Pregnancy tests are fairly accurate but blood in the urine can be caused by other things. Kidney stone, cystic kidneys, urinary tract infection. are a few of them. It would be better to go to the doctor and get it checked it out. I would think if there is quite abit of blood in the urine it would decrease the accuracy of the test.
