Wat are the care steps to be taken after abortion in order to prevent complications for next pregnancy?


i got my obortion done 2days back,i heard that if we dont take carefull steps it may effect my next pregnancy ,i eat very spicy food ,is it safe to eat too spicy? .plz anyone suggest, but plz dont judge...

Having an abortion does not increase your risk for future pregnancies and please don't believe anyone who tells you they do.

The only thing you need to be on the lookout for is any pain that isn't helped by heat or medicine, heavy bleeding (more than 2 pads an hour for at least two hours), and any strange smelling or funny colored discharge as those can be signs of an infection that can cause problems conceiving later.

If you have anything of those signs go back to the place that you had the abortion and have them check you out.

The only suggestion i can think of if when you decide to have a baby get a complete physical first. Inform your doctor of your history and keep an eye on things.

I don't think there is anything that can be done in relation to steps. Your risks increased when you had the abortion..
Surely your doctor has given you all the aftercare info you need? I cannot imagine spicy food would have any detrimental effect. Call him.
