Do u need to take the birth control pills at the same time everyday to avoid pregnancy? "Perfect use" includes taking them at about the same time every day (give or take and hour or so.) Taking them this way optimizes their effectiveness and is where the 99%+ figure comes from. Failure rates do increase slightly if you don't take them according to schedule, but as long as you're not skipping pills they're still highly effective. Im been on the pill for 7months it dont matter what time you take it as long as you take one everyday just try to take it around the same time everyday Try to keep it within the same hour every day for better chances of not getting preggo You should take it about the same time everyday. If youre a half hour off, you'll be ok, just dont forget to take it soon and take it everyday. You can also ask a pharmacist about it. It's better that way you get into a routine and you won't easily forget it. Just be advised that some girls have gotten pregnant taking the pill also. Best of luck to you........ ummm were you listening to your provider when she prescribed it for you? yes.....i take it at the exact same time everyday...............thats supposedly what they mean on the commercials when they say "when used correctly, it is 99% effective" |
