If you have Sickle cell trait and your future spouse is anemic, will that affect a pregnancy?

If you have Sickle cell trait and your future spouse is anemic, will that affect a pregnancy?

It doesn't have an 'effect' on the pregnancy. However, your unborn child will also carry the sickle cell trait and have a 25-50% chance of forming the anemia (this is dependent upon what type of anemia your spouse suffers from).
not sure of the correlation between the three. The only concern would be if both of you had the trait then your baby would have the disease. The fact that your spouse is anemic has nothing to do with your pregnancy.(Unless you mean the spouse has sickle cell anemia) You didnt say specfically which one of you had what. Does the female have the disease or trait?
The anemia would effect her health, and needs treatment. The Ss might be transmitted to the baby, and if she has the trait, it might have the disease.
