My wife is sufferring from breast pain. She is 29.She took MTpill tab for aborting unexpected pregnancy.?

We are having a kid of 4 years. Right now we have never planned for the second issue. So in consultation with Gynecologist my wife took MTpill Tablet on the 39th day of pregnancy and the pregnancy got aborted. But she is experiencing sever pain in both the breasts. Doctor said it is very common due to abortion. But what may be the reason for the above sympton. Any medicine for the same. Plz help.

first of all it sickens me to hear you be so flippent about KILLING another human being.second of all the pain your wife is feeling isn't anything compaired to what your baby felt.you need to watch the movie SILENT SCREAM.a "fetus"is a baby and just like everyone they are capeable of feeling.i pray you ask for forgiveness and when judgment day comes i hope you can think of something to tell your child when he or she asks why you didn't want them.
She should go to the doctor and get a mamagram done.
well first of all she was pregnant, and no matter what even aborting the fetus/baby her breast was ready for lactating,in other word for breast feeding. It should go away within a few weeks. If this pain persistes and there is a lump she could have a milk duct inflamed or something else. Have it checked out just the same within a few weeks.
To be on the safe side you should go and see your regular physician. It could be something worse, or it could be a side effect. If it is a side effect it is most likely because her body chemistry changed and was focused on nurturing the symbiotic relationship between the mother and fetus. The chemistry may still be trying to nurture the fetus although it is not there, so the excess biochemistry is wrecking havoc inside her body. Only a doctor who runs medical tests could tel for sure, don't go to the doctor without having blood work doen and at least an X-ray and an MRI of the soft tissue.
How long ago? Bilateral breast pain following an abortion is fairly common and can take upwards of a week or even more to go away. The Mifepristone in and of itself may be responsible, in part, for the pain.

It is important to watch for fever, abdominal (particularly one sided) pain, heavy vaginal bleeding...should any of these occur, see her doctor right away.

If it's been more than a week to ten days since the abortion and her breasts are still hurting, do press the physician to rule out any potential dangers (i.e., infection, ectopic, retained products of conception, etc. etc.).

Good luck.
