I cannot answer the effects of taking prescription meds during pregnancy, but here is some info on x-rays in the 1st trimester. Obviously the risk is different depending on the type of x-ray (the dose):

No direct evidence confirms either cancer or birth defects from exposure to diagnostic x-rays, but scientists and physicians cautiously assume that there may be some effect even from low level exposure and estimate risk from those who have had very large exposures such as atomic blast victims. http://www.permanente.net/homepage/kaise...

Side effects of Clarithromycin: upset of digestive system, ulcer in the mouth, in the tongue, altered taste, headache, dizziness, hallucinations, insomnia, other central nervous effects, rash, liver dysfunction AND SERIOUS ALLERGIC REACTIONS. . It SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN IN PREGNANCY.
X-ray causes radiation hazards 1. congenital malformation for the embryo.2.X-ray being interfering with chromosomes there will be genetic damage - result abnormal mutations in the offspring, Twice as many children die from malignant disease, before the age of ten if Xray is used in pregnancy. Anyhow the order of this risk is small.
