The other day I had unpretected sex on the same day as ovulation took ecp pills 24 hrs later pregnancy chances |
The say ecp pills help to delay ovulation, but what if ovulation has already occured, will or how effective could they be at preventing pregnancy? It seems that if you had sex the day you ovulated than took the pill 24 hours later that : 1. Your chances of being pregnant are very high. 2. The ECP pill hasn't had the chance to do it's job because you already ovulated. It can't stop something that had already happened. The only way this pill might help is because with any birth control pill they do two things: 1. Prevent ovulation 2. Make your cervix & uterus a harsh environment to sperm. (meaning making it hard for them to swim.) Wait and see if you get your period. You can test earlier than that if you want to though. Get an EPT test in about a week. Good Luck & stop having unprotected sex; There's more things to worry about than just a baby. |
