I'am 3rd month of my prengnancy and i've Hypothyriodism since 2yrs,how much it will affect on my pregnancy? |
I'm 24yrs. old & weighing 98 kg, at present all my test reports r in normal range of hypothyriodsim. and other test r also normal regarding pregnancy. I'm curious abt that will it affect to my baby and how?? You have to talk to your endocrinologist and your OB/GYN about this. Please discuss this with your Doctor Are u on harmone replacement therpy or reports r normal without replacement. U shud inform this to ur obst.Dr & she can reffer to endocrinologist . It is important that u remain uthyroid that is in normal range bcoz otherwise this may affect preg & fetal development adversly & baby may be having conginital hypothyroiism thatis cretinism . so get reports as many time as needed & take hormone replacement as advise by endocrinologist & right from very begining of pregnany. AAA.......please visit Ur private doctor talk to ur doc urgently continue with altroxin as advised and relax .this is all u can do .best of luck! As an OB specialist , my advice is : if you are on supplementary thyroxine therapy, continue taking the tablets as before. If your other parameters are normal, your baby will not be affected, only remember to inform your OB consultant about your hypothyoid state and the drugs that you are taking.Best of luck ! |
