What if you only missed one period but it is the first time you have ever missed could it mean pregnancy? |
or maybe stress? please help It could be stress or pregnancy.... take a pregnancy test and go from there. If the pregnancy test comes back neg it could be stress. If you had sex with and weren't on birth control and didn't use a condom, I'd try another test before ruling it out. If you still don't have it next month you may want to go to the doctor and have tests run. Stress can also cause the missed period but so can alot of medical conditions. The dr would probably do a pregnancy test but wait on to many others until you've missed for 3 months. It is said that if you at least have one every 90 days your okay. If it continues after that, more tests could be done for possible hormone imbalance, PCOS, thyroid problems, etc. Gaining excess weight or losing weight very quickly can also effect your period. Source(s): Been there done that! It could be a possiblity that you are pregnant or stressed. You should go to the doctor. It also could be that your period is just switching up on you, that happens too. |
