I have 2 babies under 2 years old. How do I find time to slim back down to my pre-pregnancy size? |
I am 20 years old. I had my first baby when I was 18 and got pregnant 2 months later with my second. My babies have the same birthday down to the very minute. I went from 135lbs before I was pregnant with my first one to weighing 175lbs now. It has been 8 months and I just can't find the time or motivation to run this jelly belly off. I am just finishing my first semester in college and was working until 3 weeks ago. Food is my weakness. How can I get over the love of food. I used to be sexy, but now my body is ruined! I also need to get rid of stretch marks. They are on my butt, upper thigh, sides, lower back, and stomach. What is the best way to lose the "front butt" belly? First of all, congrats on becoming a mom! For working out, I would suggest getting a stroller and walking with your kids a few times a week. Another option would be to buy an exercise DVD to do while they are napping or when they go to bed. As for food, I would just make one small healthy change to your diet at a time. As soon as the change feels easy, add another one. I recommend this to a lot of people because it worked for me, but I think it would be nice for you because you have a lot of responsibilities and this would make dieting a little easier. (So, for example, your first change would be eating a peice of fruit w/ breakfast. when that feels like a habit, then change to diet soda. etc, etc) Eventually you will be chasing after your babies so much, that exercise won't even be needed. I dropped a lot of weight after my kids started running hither and thither. do you breast feed your baby? breast feeding help woman to get back into their original shapes... Get a double stroller and walk four or five miles a day. It is easy, great for your heart, and will give you good results! You need to improve your diet, especially with you going to school and being so busy. Don't just stuff yourself with junk. I am sure that there are plenty of foods that you love which are healthy for you. Try these sites to check for portion sizes, calories and nutritional content. www.calorieking.com www.nutritiondata.com Look toward having more protein, fresh fruit and vegetables and more fiber. Avoid white flour, white sugar and sweetened drinks. Those will add the weight on. This way you can slim down, be strong and healthy and avoid diseases like diabetes. Your children will grow up knowing a healthy diet too. I am not saying to avoid foods which you love which may be fattening. Just cut the amount of those foods back a lot, so they aren't too many of your calories in a week. |
