I have a cyst in my left ovary. Will it affect my chances of conceiving? What are the risks during pregnancy? If you have already been diagnosed with a cyst, your gynecologist can best answer this question. Always rely on your own doctor for answers to medical questions. You can also do a search on google or some other search engine if you want to learn about ovarian cysts and what affect they might have on conception/carrying a fetus. However, your best source of information is your own doctor. H/She should be able to answer it. Good Luck. Certain cysts of ovary rupture on their own. As long as it is there ,conception is difficult. Certain medication and laparoscopy may help. please meet a good gynaecologist. Life My 2 children are now ages 13 & 14. I conceived them with no problem. 5 years ago I had cysts on both of my ovaries. The doctor operated and removed them and told me it would not have any effect on me getting pregnant in the future. However, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now. Whether or not that has anything to do with it... I don't know. That's just my own personal experience. it depends on how big it is. a big one should be treated by a gynecologyst and then try again to conceive. at an early age should not be a problem. be carefull ,the cyst may be a sign something goes wrong with your hormones ,but usually this can also be treated . good luck. make an apontement at your gynecologyst.I am one but i am too far to help you any other way. keep in mind that cysts on the ovary can even be a sign of ovulation. A small cysts forms and when it 'ruptures' that causes the egg to shoot into the fallopian tubes. Most go away on their own and cause no problem. The only case when it would be of major concern if it starts to get larger...then they can cause painful ruptures and possible infections. |
