Is it true you can still get your period when pregnant b/c your body hasn't adjusted to the pregnancy hormones

Yes, I've known people that still had their period for a few months after they were pregnant. They were a few months along before they ever found out.
i have heard that, that's why some people don't know they are pregnant, i wouldn't think it's common though
On the even more rare occasion.... some women have had their period all the way through their pregnancy.
