I got my period early in the month and got it again in the same month, could this be a sign of pregnancy?

the second time i got my period it was much lighter and painful.

If you've had any period (not just spotting) there is no chance that you are pregnant, as a period signifies either a miscarriage if you were preganant or you not being pregnant. It's as simple as that. If you don't know that you should not be having sex.
Go to the Doctor. This can be your diet, or female problems. If you had sex then (which I think you have) I would go and get a blood test to see if I am pregnant. Blood tests are the most accurate.
If you were pregnate you would have missed periods not two periods. Tell your doctor and him/her about it and what to do.
