How true is it that the cause of ADD/ADHD in a child is due to his mother's poor diet during pregnancy? |
ADD means attention deficit disorder i have never heard of this as being a contributor to the cause of ADD/ADHD. most children with that disorder are very intelligent. they get very bored with what is happening around them and sometimes get into trouble looking for things to interest them. find out what he/she likes to do, read whatever and inundate them with information. also try strattera for his/her school time so that they don't become disruptive to the rest of the class. good luck to you. no, thats not true.... there's nothing that "causes" add/adhd other things that cause it is the cord getting wrapped around the neck while in the womb, ask the chiropractor he will tell you lots of reasons. here is nothing to do with your pregnancy it is idiopathic. No reason. Anyone knows for sure the cause of ADD, and even they are not sure why the amphetamines work in it (b/c its paradoxical that "you are giving an CNS stimulator in a already "overstimulated" child), so dont thrust in any new theory about it. The most accurate source of information could be the DSM IV try a different way of thinking, your not guilty of miss feeding, but do try better now.how old,any allergy's.go to the Libra read read and read some more.then go on line. then take him to a pediatricians dr who specials in ADHD ,it was not good that you did not eat better .but start now by feeding the child better,do the best you can and stop kicking your self in the ***, Most ADD/ADHD is genetic. |
