Accidental pregnancies? |
I have over the years been in many a discussions about pregnancies resulting from 'accidents'. As someone who has a healthy sex life I dont see how these 'accidents' hapen, after all there are 18 forms of contraception. one night stand - get the morning after pill serious relationship - so many to choose from you really dont have any excauses am I the only person who thinks like this? Thank god for them otherwise me and my twinny wouldnt be here- although we were accidents- we were happy surprises ha ha and my mum got a bargain 2 for the price of 1- i see what youre saying though, my mum fell pregnant cos at the time doctors didnt tell you that if you take antibiotics it stops your pill from working! But nowadays theres no excuse, Ive been sexually active for 7 years and never had a pregnancy scare once! No, you aren't. I feel the same about sexually transmitted diseases. There really is no excuse. If you have to go out and sleep with a man you have just met, then at least use a condom. Yea, it sounds like your the only one who thinks like that.NOTHING is absolute, except abstenince. all forms of birth control, including the morning after pill can fail. Accidents can happen, even when being careful. One suggestion....read the labels no contraceptive is 100% effective. not all contraceptives ar 100% effeective. i have been on the pill and got pregnant, there was no explanation for it not working it just didnt. There are many people out there who have not had the same education that you may have had on how their bodies work and how to stay protected. i . what about religion?? unfortunately accidents do happen - even in a serious and healthy relationship. contraception isnt 100% anyway,i got pregnant on the pill (i have a healthy 6 year old now) even though he wasnt planned(an accident) condoms do split etc etc. as for the morning after pill isnt there so many times you can take it?the only thing i dont agree with is people using termination as a form of contraception - but thats a whole different debate! great question though No. |
