What exactly is a "uterine wall expansion" and when does that typically start happenening in pregnancies? |
It was on an episode of Days Of Our Lives, Belle is told by a nurse or doctor that what her problem was that the uterine wall expansion was causing cramps and bleeding. Belle is only supposed to be 2 days pregnant and it was none invitro... Uterine wall expansion is when the uterus is stretching in order to house a growing baby ( making your belly big) it usually doesn't start really expanding until about 8 weeks or around two months and it is painful causing cramps now I don't know about the bleeding but I do know it hurts. Hope this answers your question. uterine wall expansion is with the growth of the fetus never heard of it happening that early in pregnancies but you know tv ha ha ha...you watch soap operas? so lame.....anyways uterine wall expansion is exactly what it sounds like...Miss Belle wouldn't even know if she was 2 days pregnant...lol. When you actually concieve, you are already 2 weeks pregnant. (hence gestational age of unborn). By the time you miss your period and find out that you are pregnant, you would be about 4 - 6 weeks, by which your uterus would deffinetly be bigger than it's normal size. Ask any doctor. 37 weeks pregnant with second baby |
