Is it common for a baby to be larger than the last if you have subsequent pregnancies?

My son was 9'2 and I've heard that the next baby will be bigger. Is there any truth to this, or is this old wives tales?

My first baby was 8'5 and my second baby was 10'5.
I don't think there is any truth in it though, I know people who have had big babies and subsequent babies have all been smaller. I think its an old wives tale.

Good Luck!!
