Do breast feeding boobs generally go back to pre pregnancy size? |
My boobs before I had my first child were about a B but a small B. When I breast fed my first child it was only for about a month. After I finished breastfeeding they went to about a A. Now with my second child who I have been breastfeeding for 6 months now my boobs are about a D. I kind of like them this way. Before I had her I swear when I bent down the looked like utters. HAHA. Please tell me I'm not going to go back to that. Unfortunately we do not retain that wonderful fullness that accompanies breastfeeding - for obvious reasons. Make sure you ALWAYS wear a good support bra so your muscles do not stretch out. Use a good moisturizing cream to keep your skin supple so it can snap back when you're done and soak in warm tubs of water so your skin can stay hydrated. This way when they shrink down it won't be as noticeable because you won't be as saggy. I guess we have to think of it as a badge of honor instead of udders :) that big huh well i hear they go back to size...but hang a knotch or two lower... Yes they do right now your producing milk after your done and the milk dries up they will go back down they could be alittle bigger then original but they won't stay d's I've heard they usually do get smaller than the original size after you finish breast feeding. It is common for breasts to shrink or "deflate" after breastfeeding. This is one of the reasons it is a growing trend for mothers to schedule breast lifts and even enlargements after multiple pregnancies. |
