Glucose test in pregnancy with a result of 53?

The nurses at my Dr.s office told me that I was doing a great job, and did not have any signs of suffering gestational diabetes after my glucose screening test. She said that the cut off for the three hour test was 140, and that I was actually a little low, at 53. Then the conversation was over. SHe was not alarmed in any way, but I've been looking online to see what a glucose level of 53 could mean and Ive read things about hypoglycemia. I know im just being paraniod of and if there was a problem, she would have told me. Has anyone else tested around a 53 in their pregnancy? I feel wonderful....and I did avoid that reeces cup before going to bed the night before the test, in hopes that my levels would be lower! could be why?

If you are truly worried about it, I would call the MD office and see if they have something called a "Triage" nurse, and talk with her/him and see what they say, or even if you can leave a message or speak with your OB's nurse or medical assistant, and ask them. That would be my suggestion, my OB has a triage nurse and she has been wonderful about answering my questions, and getting me the answers if she doesn't know them right off.
53 is really low for anyones sugar wether theyre diabetic or not
