Weight-loss and Pre-Pregnancy?

After a recent surgery my doctor recommended that I try to get pregnant within the next couple of months. I know that I need to lose 15 lbs (or more would be better) but I am terrible with diets. I am walking about 30 minutes in the evening but I need a "Diet for Dummies" type of help. NO DIET PILLS!!! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Weight loss is really about "lifestyle changes" I would recommend that you check out the following book Ask the Nutritionists: Answers to your Nutrition Questions"
