When do you suppose to start lifting things after a pregnancy? It really depends--did you have a c-section, or a natural birth? If a C-section, you'll want to wait at least 4-6 weeks, depending on what your physician says. I'd give it two weeks before lifting anything over 10 pounds with a vaginal birth, at least. Call your OB-GYN to be 100% sure! It is best to ask your doctor before you begin doing any activities after a pregnancy, you could suffer a set back (heavy bleeding, infection, fever etc) that will land you in the hospital.
