Question about stretch marks?? not pregnancy stretch marks!!? |
my daughter has them all over her body!! i'm assuming from major growth spurts?? anyway, they are really unsightly, and i was wondering if there was anything we could do about them??? she is 17,and a big girl!! she's about 5 foot nine inches, and, she would kill me if i revealed her weight, but lets just say it is over 200!!! she was always a little big for her age, but, is it normal for her to have grown so fast, and so big, and have those horrible stretch marks?? my older brother has streck marks from getting fat really fast so that may be her problem u can get rid of them by: 鈥?Apply cocoa butter into the stretch marks. 鈥?Massage with vitamin E oil into the stretch marks, especially after shower. 鈥?Apply tretinoin cream after consulting your doctor, since this cream is available by prescription only. 鈥?Eat foods that are rich in vitamin A, E and C. You can take supplements along with your regular diet. However, pregnant women should have this after consulting their doctors. 鈥?Eat foods that are rich in zinc, and silica. These are good for skin and help form collagen, the supporting fibers in the skin. 鈥?Eat foods that contain essential fatty acids. For example, vegetables, vegetable oils and fish oils. This will help make cell walls. My husband and one of my son's has those kind. My husband is 44 and son is 16 and they don't use anything on them but, they have not changed over the years on my husband. Son hasn't had them very long. So yes, you can grow that fast and get those. Co Coa butter works, when my sister loss weight she had them, then she used co coa butter, their clearing up now, she uses it everyday. Coco butter helps to reduce stretch marks. You can get it at Walgreens. I would say that the stretch marks are the least of your worries. They are just cosmetic and you really need to concentrate more on her obesity. Help her to get on a diet and exercise program to lose the weight. When she has lost all of the weight you can maybe check into getting the stretch marks removed somehow by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. |
