How to Prepare for my surgery...(women who have had Breast AUG. Please)? |
im getting a breast aug. and masteopexy(lift)...on thursday. i was wondering from people who have had this done, what should i wear for a shirt in, something loose i figure...but just somethings i should know and have and all that...and what should i be prepared for after besides alot of pain! and what kind of meds do you usually get? will they make me sick? and how long does it take for swelling to go down? You should have thoroughly researched everything (after care, surgery procedures, etc) before making any appointment for surgery. Please check out http://www.breasthealthonline.com... there is a great support and FAQ forum there. A button down, loose shirt. You aren't going to want to left your arms over your head. Swelling depends on your body. Usually a couple of weeks. Make sure you rest. Taking the tiime to recover is VERY important. The meds depend on your doctor. For your sake I pray you have done research and have a good doctor. To me it hurt worse than having a baby. It felt like two bricks had been put in my chest. IT HURTS. Make sure you do what the doctor says. You have to massage them VERY IMPORTANT and that HURTS. GOOD LUCK, i had same done last week wear wear a loose baggy button down shirt that would be best!sweling all depends really normally if you take 2weeks off work depending on your job thats enough but getting enough rest is important remember to wear a padded bra youll be just like me i went from an A cup to a Dcup so yea bitta difference lol trying to get into short skinpy tops but...DONT...hurts..a bit...hehe goodluck though! xxxx |
