Low progesterone levels... Helpp?

I just had a miscarriage about 4 weeks ago.. and about a week or 2 after the miscarriage, i found out i was pregnant again.. Im about 2 or 3 weeks pregnant if that, They did a blood test they said my levels are rising but my progesterone levels are kinda low...(about 4) Im really worried since i just had the miscarriage.. They just put me on progesterone pill... Please has this happend to anyone and resulted ok????

Yes I have had a pregnancy with low progesterone levels and had progesterone suppositories till the second trimester. I have also had previous m/c's. I have PCOS. I was super worried, especially since the suppositories weren't working, so they increased them and when that didn't work I got daily shots. The office called me at home and said come in now, so I did and got the shot. My level was 11. They like it to be over 15. They did work, I never spotted. My son was delivered full term. Do make sure they keep looking at your levels. It will not be an issue after week 11 when the placenta supports the pregnancy with progesterone. If you spot go in to the hospital after taking a pill. You really can't have too much progesterone, the only thing is it will make you nausous if the level is high. It is just ovarian failure that the ovaries aren't doing their job.

I also conceived again 2-3 weeks after a miscarriage. My progesterone levels were also low (around 9) and I was put on Prometrium (progesterone suppositories) until 13/14 weeks. And really I was only on it that long for my own peace of mind. Like the other poster said, once the placenta takes over the extra progesterone is no longer needed.
My son was born in April 07 and is now 14 months. I'm sure your pregnancy will be fine. Good Luck and please try and stay calm. Just take it one day at a time.
