I am 5 weeks pregnant and my doc said that my progesterone is low 8.6 she prescribed supplements do they work? Yes, take them. I know it's a little scary when they tell you that, but you'll be fine! I was put on progesterone at 6 weeks and had to stick those little pills up my whoo ha until I was almost 14 weeks. Now I am 25w3d with a healthy baby girl! I was told at about 8 weeks that my progesterone was low. I had to take prometrium and every week have my levels tested. They went up and then one week went down, but went back up. At 16 weeks they stopped them. i had a perfectly healthy baby boy last november. Yes take them....................... you better take them you are crazy if you dont you are asking for a miscarriage |
