Micronor or progesterone only pills, what side effects have you had?

im thinking about going back on micronor to control my periods pms, but ive taken some other progesterone only pills and im b1tchy as hell, will micronor make me worse?

I have been taking progesterone pills since I was 14. The first year I was so evil and mad and RAWR!! My doctor said I would be like that up to a year and now I'm fine. I have been taking them for eight years and have only had to deal with the effects for a year. My sister took micronor and she was about to eat anyone's heads off that LOOKED at her wrong. I would stick with the progesterone for atleast another six months of so.
~hope i helped

Because I suffer from migraines my doctor will only prescribe the POP for me.

I tried Micronor several years ago and had no ill effects at all. I stopped taking it for a couple of years, then started again. It made my periods very irregular, then stopped them completely, which I really didn't like.

After that I tried Cerazette, which gave completely the opposite problem of constant bleeding.
I've given up on the POP now, I'm afraid.

Try Cerazette the new POP, which is a lower dose and doesn't cause the classic bad side effects. As long as you start between day 1-5 of your period you will be fine. My GP says start on day 2 so you are definitely on your period.

I have so far just had a little extra greasiness to my skin and hair but nothing awful.
