Is it possible to get pregnant with a PROGESTERONE LEVEL OF 1.2? |
I took my blood test on cd21 and they said levels are only 1.2. Said that was really low. What should the be at? This is my first month of clomid. 50 mg. That is where I have been around. It is highly unlikely to get pregnant, but there is always a chance. According to my OBGYN your progesterone level should be at least 15 in order to conceive. Yes that's really low. Pregnancy is normally only supported by progesterone levels above 10. Luckily, it's one of the easiest things to fix; your doctor will most likely prescribe you pills or suppositories which 1) work instantly on the first day you take them and 2) have mostly mild side effects (basically they give you more PMS!). Your levels will also rise straight away to a better level to make pregnancy viable. Good luck! BUT....did you ovulate on cd14????? My doc tested me on cd21, and I was also low, BUT come to find out I had ovulated on cd20, so of course my progesterone level was low. |
