How well does progesterone suppositories work when you are pregnant? my doc gave them to me to decrease the risk of miscarriage i started them at 5 weeks & up until 12 weeks. it was horrible i had to take them 4 times a day, & yes they r pretty nasty cuz of the leaks. but in the end, i have a now 2 month old healthy baby boy. While I was trying to get pregnant the doctor came to the conclusion that I needed progesterone support. So....one month I did on suppository a day....didn't get pregnant that time. The next month the doctor upped it to two a day (morning and evening). I got pregnant! I continued on the suppositiories until the end of my first trimester. We now have beautiful 4 year old twins. My doc put me on them for my first trimester. I started spotting when I was about 6wks. Doc sent me for ultrasound & blood tests. Tests showed low hormone level. No complications throughout the rest of pregnancy. Had a HEALTHY baby boy - now 21mo. |

Are you seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist because that is low. I had to take projesterone for baby #2. But...you can do it yourself if your doctor is an idiot. I buy this brand, Emirita ...
