Is is too soon to get progesterone level checked?

I had my first LH surge yesterday morning. So I assumed I ovulated yesterday or today. I had more cm yesterday than today. My doctor wanted to test my progesterone level on Monday (7/7). I thought you were supposed to get your levels drawn 7 days after ovulation. Do you think it's too soon or should the results be the same even if I'm just now ovulating?

it depends on the doctor and what exactly they're looking for, i've read of some doctors checking for those levels before 7 days after ovulation :) just talk to your doctor to make sure you know what he's looking for,
you can also ask a fertility specialist online for free to see what they think, try www.FertilityTies.com
good luck!!!
