Progesterone takers: did your pregnancy symptoms feel different than your progesterone side effects? |
I'm looking for answers from you gals who (1) took progesterone (shots, pessaries, suppositories) as part of your IF treatment (IVF, IUI, other injectible regime) AND (2) got pregnant. No. While taking progesterone I felt like I was pregnant. Sore breasts, nausea, cramping, small headaches. The side effects are teasers for sure. Only way to tell was a missed period. I had the sore breasts and cramping . . . but I chalked it up to PMS or the progesterone suppositories that I was using 3 times a day . . . I was actually surprised to get a positive result on the beta for my IVF cycle. |
