5 weeks pregnant and low progesterone? |
I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant and was scared about having low HCG levels but they have now shot up from 49 to 689 in just four days...woohoo. NOW, my progesterone level is down and I am so scared..on my initial test, my level was 7.3, then I went back and it reduced to 6 so my doc put me on progesterone suppositories. My questions is, has anyone experienced this before? How did the progesterone suppositories make you feel? How soon did your levels go up? I'm on 100mg..scared and nervous oh the fun of progesterone suppositories!!!!! It feels like you are going through menopause. The hot flashes are killers. mood swings are fun too. You may need to be on them until you are 16 weeks along. It is a safety measure and can prevent miscarriage. I think you should definately do it. It will help calm your nerves to know that you are doing all you can. Itook them when I was pg with my twins. |
